The fundamental problem with biological psychiatry and with
virtually all of ‘alternative medicine,’ is that they claim that all
emotional/behavioral/psychological problems--ADD, ADHD, learning
disabilities, autism, depression, thought & mood disorders, etc., etc.,
are abnormalities = diseases, due to biochemical imbalances within the
brain/individual. There are, however, no proven, diagnosable,
abnormalities = diseases. Such persons are normal but suffer the
symptoms and problems of the difficulties of everyday living, that is,
of their circumstances/environment--things such as imperfect parents,
teachers, homes, schools, communities. The invented diseases and
biochemical imbalances, have one purpose and one purpose only--that
being to sell 'treatments' and 'cures' none of which are predicated upon
the situational realities that have lead to those symptoms and
problems. Such 'treatments' and 'cures' may seem to work for a time
(placebo effect), and may be less toxic than psychiatry's drugs, but
they never lead to the true insight necessary for such a person to
better adapt, and cope, and overcome. All invented diseases and
/biochemical imbalances intend to make patient’s out of normal people.
There is no justification for this deception. In every case it is a
violation of informed consent.]
