Dear Dr. Baughman,
A very dear friend suggested I read your web site. I am so glad he did, I
have a wonderful son he is 11 years old. He was diagnosed with ADHD last
year. He was prescribed Adderal XL 10mg. once a day. We did see great
improvements at first, but I have noticed changes in his personality. He
becomes very aggressive

at times and depressed

. I asked his doctor if it could be related to his Adderal, she said no

Do the right thing now but dont blame yourself for what is past, you were
systematically lied to by US psychiatry, by the FDA, DEA, Surgeon General,
CDC, pharmaceutical industry and who would think that.]

. Would I be hurting my son if I stopped his Adderal all at once? Who do I
see to help him with lasting problems? Who do I trust to check him and see
if any damage has been caused by the drug? I have to stop and say I am very
angry not only at myself for wanting to believe there was a quick fix, but
at the medical community

right, it is pediatrics (AAP) neurology (AAN, CNS) and family
practice (AAFP) as well, telling patients, the public all things emotional and behavioral are diseases, expressly to make patients of normals]

for convincing parents that these drugs are safe. These children look to
us to keep them safe, we have let them down. Do these doctors realize that
these children are our future, our legacy. Why are they poisoning our
children's minds? Thank you Dr. Baughman for the truth. I hope to hear

You should find a physician who will honor your request to get and keep your son off of psychiatric medication. You understand I cannot be your physician. Finally write your US Senator and Representatives and tell them of this victimization at the hands not just of US medicine and psychiatry but of agents and agencies of your government.
