Hello Dr. Baughman,
It’s great to see medical professionals finally standing up for children / parents, against these
atrosities. It looks like they are starting a new push here in Massachusetts to drug our kids by
conditioning the parents. On January 21, a local PhD (Dr. James Lavine, PhD., LICSW) from the
Simmons College of Social work (specializing in ADHD) will be attempting to “inform” teachers &
parents on the disability.
According to the flyer…”The second half of the meeting will be an informal discussion with each
other and what we as a PAC would like to accomplish together.” This greatly concerns me, as I
have two school-aged children in this public system. I am writing you in an attempt to gain as
much relivant information as possible.
I am particularly interested in, but not limited to, the negative impacts of drugs like ritilan (and
equivilant), corruptive and unconstitutional tactics of legislature and the influences / lobbying of
pharmaceutical companies. Any verifiable information would be welcome.
[Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD:
I have a web site
I have a video that can be ordered through the web site. All of your instincts are
right. In LA County 75% of children in foster care are on 2 or more drugs (meaning that nearly all
must be on at least one)]
I am deeply convinced that something needs to be done quickly!
[Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD:
I and allies at ASPIRE, a new organization to combat such things, agree]
A school councelor neighboring town has
quoted that about 70% of boys in the public school system are on behavior modifying drugs.
[Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD:Entirely believable]
They tryed to put one of my kids on these drugs, but have been
unsuccessful…so far. In fact, he is now doing quite well after a few changes in diet, study habbits,
etc. Unfortunately, these tyrants are not through trying!
[Fred A. Baughman Jr., MD:
this is why no child should have to
go to a US public school, and believe me this could not be happening if the federal government
were not a full partner in it]
I understand that you must be a busy man, but I and my community would sure appreciate your
help and input. People need to know the facts! Thank you in advance for your time and
consideration in this important matter.
Sincerely, Dave
