Comments of F.A. Baughman Jr., MD re letter from divorced father of a
vivacious, normal, 12 year-old daughter being forced, against-her-will to
take Ritalin:

Having provided medico-legal consul in many such situations, I have
frequently encountered the tragic phenomena of one parent wanting and
needing to enforce the psychiatric drugging of the child as their only means
of controlling and subjugating the child. All such cases represent a total
failure of that parent in his/her parental role and physician-assisted child
abuse. In the case of 11 year-old William Lyons of Fargo, ND, he and his
mother argued and fought whenever he was not on his Ritalin, so she snuck it
into his food. The judge lauded her for that and then awarded custody her,
terminating the father's visitation, stating he was an irresponsible parent
for resisting the ADHD 'disease' label and it's 'treatment' with Ritalin.
None of this is the legitimate practice of medicine.

called me in tears this evening, 5PM, telling me of the
inquisition her mother subjects her to now every day. She told me her
mother is forcing her to take Ritalin IN FRONT OF HER MOTHER'S STARING
GAZE, and if her mother turns away for a moment, Teresa then doesn't
believe she has taken the pill. Stephanie is now being subjected to this

BOTH CAUSED BY THE ABUSIVE ACTIONS OF HER MOTHER.
You have been apprised this is a violation of her Constitutional Rights,
you have been apprised Ritalin usage CAUSES CANCER and ABNORMAL LIVER
FUNCTIONS, IT CAUSES BRAIN ATROPHY, IT CAUSES GROWTH HORMONE LEVEL
REDUCTION and CARDIAC PULSE VARIATIONS. You have been informed there have
been 598 hospitalizations and 186 deaths THAT WE KNOW OF and we haven't
been able ascertain the Glaucoma issue because KU MED is backed up till
June. (NOTE: I called KU MED for other Drs.' names and numbers last
Friday and they have not provided me with names.)
Her grades don't merit usage of this drug and it is not good to send a
child to school upset and crying....AND STILL WITHOUT BREAKFAST! No
child can perform well under these circumstances. Steph has informed you
in writing that she doesn't want to take Ritalin and I believe she also
informed you of this verbally. Yet no action has been forthcoming to
stop this illegally forced drug usage.
You've failed to stop the additional Psych testing and NOWHERE DOES
ANYONE see evidence of Ritalin "therapy" being necessary for my daughter.
If you don't like the truth, if you don't agree with it, if it is
different than your lectures portend....it still doesn't change the
FACTS. Ritalin is a toxin (poison) and it causes physical harm to
children and her mother insists on putting this child in harms' way.
You have done NOTHING to alleviate this situation.
I get the feeling you do not comprehend the seriousness of the above
situation. If you cannot or will not issue a cease and desist to her
mother and her school immediately then you leave me no alternative but to
go to G (attorney) for an emergency hearing before Judge Russell to seek
intervention and injunction and I can speed up the filing of a law suit
for reckless disregard and child endangerment against Teresa, W
P and H
We have been under your management now for 4 months and NONE of the FOIA
and US Govt evidence has been refuted by Teresa or you and your inaction
is allowing Teresa to continually place this child's health at risk.
I demand action on your part, immediately, to stop forced drug usage or
I'll file the necessary court actions to get her out of harms way.
You have told me you need Doctors input to get her off Ritalin. Enclosed
is Dr. Fred Baughman's phone number. He is a Fellow in the American
Academy of Neurology and a Child (pediatric) neurologist. He will gladly
help you.
I stated to you that I preferred to "massage" this situation rather than
brute force it, but Teresa has forced this issue out of my hands.
You need to contact me by phone. Should I not hear from you then I know
the course of legal action I must
initiate.
