>
>
> Arlington, VA-Laurie Flynn, executive director of the National Alliance for
> the
> Mentally Ill (NAMI), today announced the appointment of Andrew Sperling as
> deputy executive director for public policy.
>
> Since 1996, Sperling has served as NAMI's key legislative advocate on

> and
> the Work Incentives Act, which eliminated barriers to recovery under the
> Social
> Security Disability Income (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

>
> With more than 210,000 members, NAMI is the nation's leading grassroots

> with
> severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic
> depression), major depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and severe
> anxiety
> disorders.

[Dr Baughman:
NAMI & CHADD spread the neuro-biological lie which holds that
psychologic/psychiatric conditions are medical/neurological diseases;
biologically based diseases, due to 'chemical imbalances of the brain'
needing
'chemical balancers'--pills. Further, they spearhead the involuntary,
coerced,
forced treatment of their sham, illusory 'diseases.' They are joined in
this by
the legislators and judiciary of the nation in what has become the most
grave of
all assaults on the civil liberties of US citizens.

See empty claim of Rex Cowdry, MD, of NAMI in testimony to Congress, that
ADHD
and all mental conditions are 'diseases'; that children/adults with them are
diseased, have physical abnormalities, just like persons with diabetes,
cancer,
strokes, etc.
